Welcome to the inthewoodshop.org finishing room. Many regard finishing as the worst part of woodworking. I like to treat it as a separate hobby - the outcome of which can bring just as much satisfaction. In this section I hope to describe for you some of the finishes I use, and give you some hints as to how to work around some of the difficulties that can be encountered while finishing.
