EasyShop Shop Designer Won't Print !?!?!?!?! ============================================ [Use your browser's back button to return.] I have had a handful of emails now indicating that people have been having problems getting Shop Designer to print. I have recently had my own laptop meltdown and I downloaded the software for reinstallation only to find I couldn't get it to print either. Here is how I work around it. I do any changes to the layout and save as normal. When I want to print, I press the "PRT SC" or "Print Screen" button to take a screen shot of the entire Shop Designer window. Then I open Windows Paint and click on Edit and Paste. The computer will probably ask you if you want to enlarge the bitmap so make sure you click OK. If you don't, only part of the screen print will appear - probably the part you don't want. Then I use the rectangular selection tool to select just the layout, then I click Edit and Copy To. You will have to give it a file name then click save. When you reopen that file using Word or your favorite image software, you will be able to print. It is also easy to open the file with your internet browser and print if you want to get a quick copy without formatting. An added benefit of this method is that Windows paint, or another graphic program, will allow you to make alterations and additions that were otherwise impossible with the original software! ___________________________________________________ (c)2004 Howard Ruttan - howard@inthewoodshop.org
